By joining Tamura's PTA and donating your membership fee, you'll be helping fund PTA programs. Tamura's PTA provides student field trips, assemblies, Lunar New Year festival, Meet the Masters art program, and also hosts events; Magic Night, Movie Night, Fall Festival and Fun in the Sun Carnival. Your membership fee helps us provide much needed supplies directly to teachers. Additionally, all PTA members are entitled to attend and vote at PTA meetings, keeping you informed of what's happening at school! You'll be the first to know about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and you'll be connected with our amazing network of Tamura Tiger families!

REFLECTIONS ART CONTEST

The 2023-24 Reflections Art Contest theme has been announced - and all Tamura students are invited to start working on their entries! Tamura entries are due Friday, October 13th by 2:30pm.

Reflections is the only school art contest we participate in where our students get to choose which of their talent(s) they would like to showcase, while incorporating the annual theme “I am Hopeful Because...” We can’t wait to see what our students come up with!

There are 6 categories. (Students can enter an entry into 1 or all 6 if they’d like):

Film Production

Music Composition

Visual Arts

Dance Choreography

Literature

Photography

There are appropriate divisions for students to participate in: Primary (Pre-K - Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3-5) …all the way up through Middle & High School!
